Keep data secure in your windows any drive external or internal some different different method
1:- By Password protection
2:- By Hiding drive
Now days is very need to secure our data because there many way to access data from one computer to another computer and can be hacked and any one can can misuse your data.
So be careful and secure your external or internal any hard drive data by following my steps.By these step you can encrypt your data and nobody can access your important data
1st method
Password protection by bit locker
Note:-In windows 7 Bit Locker program already installed but in other like windows 8,10 we have to download bit locker then install and then we can use it
In windows 7
For encrypt partition in windows 7 is very simple fist right click on that drive which you want to password protect and click on bit locker type your password and confirm password and click on next and read instruction and select which you want and next and encrypt it will take some time to encrypt drive
In windows 8, 10
In windows 8 or 10 you have to download and install bit locker by Microsoft official website which is given bellow
Download Bit locker
After install you have follow same step like windows 7 which is given upper side and you have give recovery key also.
2nd method
By hide and show a drive
We can hide any drive in any windows simply by doing some settings if you know this setting than you can hide your drive when you want and you can show also when you want its very simple
So let's start
first go to computer right on that click >>> and go to manage >>> than disk management and select drive which you want to show or hide drive.
and right click on that drive click on change drive and latter path.......
Notice:- here if you click remove this drive latter like C,D,E,F...than your drive will hide and if you click Add drive latter than your hidden drive will be show
So like this you can show or hide your important drive to keep safe to access another parson
