(ADDS) active directory domain name service is the server role in directory that allow admin to manage and store information about resource from the network.(ADDS) active directory domain service integrated security by authenticating logons and controlling who has access to directory resource.
ADDS installation
Start >>> sever manage >>> role >>> add role >>> server role >>> ✓ ( check mark ) adds >>> next >>> next >>> install >>> close
For this role you have to run dc promo
For that go to start >> run >>> type dc promo >>> ok >>> next >>> next >>> create a new domain in new forest >>> next >>> FQDN ( fully qualified domain name)
If You want to access from internet then give name which is on internet such as (www. Google. Com) otherwise give any name light (abc. Com) >>> next select which is your OS
Note:-
If any domain name controller working in your environment or server of Windows 2000 or other then you have to keep here same Windows 2000 >>> next >>> here select same
Here we can change after install but from lower version to higher version it means Windows 2000 to Windows 2008 >>> next
And now read instruction carefully otherwise you can make mistake
Here adds (active directory domain name service) cannot work without DNS and DNS can work without adds and if not installed DNS then ✓ (check mark) select DNS server >>> next >> ( here is showing error first give IP address statically and and don't obtain
and disable IP version 6 >>> next >>> next >>> yes
And here give location to save
first , database6
second, lock file
third, for group policy
It's keep separate partition >>> next >>> give restore mode password
