Install DHCP server in Windows server 2008Start >>> server manager >>> role >>> add role >>> ✓ check mark on square box DHCP server >> next >>> next
Note
Here showing your IP if in this pc there are more than one LAN card then showing more than one IP addresses and you can select one or more IP addresses which you want
Next >>> next >>> next >>> add >>> give scope name and give pool IP address
start IP for example 192.168.1.1
End IP 192.168.1.200 and now give Subnet Mask and gateway >>> and click on >>> Ok >>> next disable >>> DHCP IPv6 ...............>>> Next >>> use credential >>> next >>> install
And now you can show in client PC after that click on start >>> administrative tool >>> dhcp and click on plus icon + PC name >>> again click on plus icon + IPv4 (if here showing green mark then it's ok otherwise right click on your server PC name >>> authorise OR right click on scope and activate
To reservation
Right click on reservation in DHCP and click on >>> new reservation give ip, description, select both add.

"How DHCP assigns IP addresses"
DHCP assigns an IP address when a system is started, for example:
A user turns on a computer with a DHCP client.
The client computer sends a broadcast request (called a discover looking for a DHCP server to answer.
The router directs the discover packet to the correct DHCP server.
The server receives the discover packet. Based on availability and usage policies set on the server, the server determines an appropriate address (if any) to give to the client. The server then temporarily reserves that address for the client and sends back to the client an offer packet, with that address information. The server also configures the client's DNS servers, WINS servers, NTP servers, and sometimes other services as well.
The client sends a request packet, letting the server know that it intends to use the address.
The server sends an ACK packet, confirming that the client has a been given a lease on the address for a server-specified period of time.

minimum hardware requirements.The SCI cluster consists of a Master node or one or many Data nodes. Alternatively, for demo or testing purposes, you can set up
SCI as a single Demo node. The cluster can be fully functional with just the Master node. The Data node is optional, as it only
helps to scale the processing power and storage capacity of the cluster. The Demo node is a standalone node which cannot be
used in a cluster with a Master node or Data node.
The Demo node must only be used for demo or testing purposes. This node has scaling and performance limitations and should
not be used in a production environment. The Demo node can only support up to 200 APs.
NOTE
To avoid system-performance issues, do not allocate more CPUs than recommended in the following tables.
